How to use the booking history
Access all bookings for a property, filter by status, and contact previous guests via WhatsApp.
The booking history brings together all bookings for a property in a single list — past, ongoing, and upcoming. It's useful for looking up previous guest details, checking a booking amount, or reaching out via WhatsApp.
How to access
In the side menu, click History (under Bookings). Select the property you want to view in the property selector at the top of the page.
What each booking shows
Each item in the list displays:
- Period and number of nights
- Status of the booking
- Guest — guest's name
- Phone — with a button to open WhatsApp directly
- Amount of the booking
Click any booking to see full details and, if it's still upcoming, edit the information.
Booking statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Confirmed | Confirmed, with check-in in the future |
| Ongoing | Guest is currently checked in |
| Completed | Stay has ended |
| Pending | Request not yet confirmed |
| Expired | Pending request whose check-in date has already passed |
Loading more bookings
The list loads 20 bookings at a time. If the property has more, a Load more button appears at the bottom of the list.
Contacting guests via WhatsApp
If the guest has a phone number on file, it appears as a clickable link. When tapped, HostX opens WhatsApp with that guest's conversation — you can choose a predefined message or type freely.
